CHERRY COLLAGEN SHAKE
We like our healthy to taste good! This sweet shake is packed with benefits. Black cherries reduce inflammation, contain fiber, natural melatonin and potassium , acting as a nutrient-dense, but low-calorie fruit. Collagen peptides have proven to hydrate the skin and improve skin elasticity. Lastly, while the dollop of coconut cream adds a rich, creamy texture it’s also considered a keto-friendly fat (natural source of MCTs).
INGREDIENTS
1 cup frozen black cherries
2 dates (pitted)
1/2 cup coconut milk (or milk of your choice)
scoop of collagen powder
scoop of vanilla protein powder
dollop of coconut cream to line your glass
DIRECTIONS
1. Combine cherries, dates, milk, collagen, protein and blend.
2. Add coconut cream to the bottom of your drinking glass (this truly elevates the experience).
3. Pour cherry shake over coconut cream, garnish with a cherry or two!
Note: You could substitute the vanilla protein powder if you are using a vanilla collagen.
