On Holiday : Nantucket Daffodil Festival

Daffy

Nantucket celebrated it’s 50th annual Daffodil Festival or better known as “daffy”.  Thirty miles out to sea; a “ferry”-tale of the happiest day on island!

Coffee

Walk through the prettiest daffodil archway into The Lemon Press and snag a tahini date latte or a signature daffy cocktail.

Cars

Browse the dozens of daffodil-decorated vintage cars lined up on Main Street before parading out to 'Sconset for the legendary Tailgate Picnic!

Shop

Stroll the cobblestone streets with flowering trees and cedar-shake boutiques.  Four Winds Gifts is a favorite with hosting and homegoods, classic island sweaters and special edition daffy apparel.

Show

The 50th Annual Daffodil Show was orchestrated by The Nantucket Garden Club  at The Nantucket Inn.  This year's theme was “50 years of sunny faces, 50 years of smiles and cheer, 50 years of daffodils - still blooming year on year."

Snack

Before catching the ferry back to port, stop by The Juice Bar for waffle cones and ice cream-all homemade!

Nantucket hosts daffy every year and if you like daffodils-it’s a must-see!
